Conference was so good!!! I feel like that is all I can think about right now! I love General Conference, and there is something so different about conference as a missionary. It is just so special. And E and her family were there as well. S was so cute. He kept waving and giving us thumbs up. 

And we were able to hit the standards of excellence again this week. That was such a blessing, especially since at one point, we weren't sure that we were going to make it. But we were able to. Now we just need to get our new investigators to keep their return appointments! That is the frustrating thing. We talk to people, they are interested, we set a time, they agree, we come back, they aren't home or are busy. It can be frustrating. But a few of them are starting to have something come of it, so it's all worth it. I would rather be talking to people and trying to catch them at home then not working at all.

Anyway, I loved conference! It was so wonderful. I loved Elder Ballard's talk about following up. Using the full name of the church can be difficult, because people don't give you time to say it all, but it is so worth it! Last Sunday (March 30) we talked to this man who was convinced that we weren't Christian and that we didn't believe in Christ. But using the name of the church and passages from the Book of Mormon, my companion and I were able to testify powerfully that we are Christian, we do believe in Christ, and that He is the head of our church! He wouldn't let us set an appointment, but he has a copy of the Book of Mormon, and he said he was going to read it to see if what we said was true. So the seed has been planted, and hopefully will be harvested at some future date. And it was so wonderful to have Elder Aidukaitis and then Elder Christofferson speak back to back. There is something special about listening to someone speak in conference after you have been able to meet them and shake their hand. It was such a blessing to be able to hear them testify of the Savior again. They are the same in conference that they were in BC! They are don't put on a persona for people. The men and women who lead and guide the church are called of God and conference was such a powerful witness of that for me!! It was such a blessing to be able to watch that, and I wish it wasn't over!
